Working with control systems can vary depending on the company or industry you work in but most aspects would be over 70 on your scale.
Salary – 70 for the lower end while if you specialise in certain aspects you can get a lot higher (100).
Work Life – 70-85/100 – there will be some working away from home when your control system is installed, depending on the company this can be most of the time or only for a month or so in total a year.
Workload – 70-90 – there are usually peaks and troughs where you will have little to do while your design is approved or lots to do when it is in test or being installed.
Career Options – 100 – There are lots of different options, you can specialise in certain areas or go work in another branch of control systems. You could move into the design rather than implementation, work on the project management of things or look at quality control.

I work as a post-doc at the university and my salary is on the lower end so I would rate it somewhere around 50, while in the industry, the salary would be much higher but I would have less freedom in my work and less flexibility with my working hours, so definitely 90-100 for work-life balance.
