• Question: on a scale of one to ten, how much do you use maths on a day to day basic?

      Hi, I use maths at different levels pretty much every day. A lot of the time in work I will use Excel to do calculations for me. Other times you have to do plans, this can include working out dates/times, finances, travel calculations. I would probably say it is an 8. There is a lot of variation in the types of maths you do.

      Probably a 4/10 – I can use it everyday but that would just be simple calculations. Only occasionally would I use it for solving equations or doing bespoke calculations.
      The majority of the time, my timesheet calculations on how many hours I worked each day are probably the most complicated I do all week.
