• Question: I struggle a bit with memorising Pythagoras theorem, what are some tips?

      Great question – I’d suggest visualizing it by drawing it on a poster and just making sure you use it to help. Mathsgenie have a great set of questions and by the time you’ve done a few of those it will be much easier!

      I would suggest trying to think more about the logic behind the formulas instead of just trying to memorise the letters. For example, Pythagoras theorem means that for a right-angled triangle, the area of the square on the longest side is equal to the sum of the areas of the squares on the other two sides.
