      I usually use a calculator or even computer software if it’s complex or needs to refer to a big dataset!

      It depends on the question! If it is relatively simple maths then I do it in my head. If it is more complicated then I use a calculator on my phone. It is using the right tool for the right job. Also, I don’t always need a precise answer, so head based calculations are enough.

      It ultimately depends on the complexity of the sum. Usually I’ll double check myself with a calculator if I’m feeling unsure.

      For data analysis I use Excel. Makes it easier to copy the same calculation over multiple entries!
