      I love how varied my job is as a medical statistician working in clinical trials. Some days I am coding all day, other days I am working with colleagues to design our data collection, or plan our analyses, or review data… No two days are the same and it’s also an extremely rewarding job, knowing that the new medicines benefit patients suffering from cancer

    I love the variety of my job, as sometimes I’m speaking directly with owners or examining animals, other times I’m working at a computer to create a survey or to analyse data, sometimes I’m presenting at a conference to share research findings. The best thing about the job is feeling like the work directly helps to improve animals’ wellbeing and the welfare of their owners too, whether that’s individual pet dog owners, owners of animals who rely on their animal (such as a working horse or donkey) for their daily life or farmers who are producing food animals.
