Question: how did you get interested in maths

I like maths as a tool – so I use it to try and solve problems. I’m a scientist so really I love finding answers to problems and doing experiments, but maths is there as our language for explaining everything.

I always enjoyed the subject at school, much more than other compulsory subjects like English. At that level, it was very satisfactory, that you either had the answer or you didn’t. I also enjoy puzzels and a suduko, which maths is used for these problem solving.
