• Question: is there a cross over with math and music

      Yes, there’s a lot of crossover. I currently teach on a module about the science of music, specifically about how sound travels around different rooms and how you can decide on the best room to play a particular piece of music in. There’s also a lot of maths in music theory, looking at pitch and rhythms.

    This is the focus of my research at the moment! We have known for a while that there is. The question is, how might music help us in maths learning? (I am investigating this by writing maths songs!)
