      Starting the apprenticeship in something that I am interested in. Great opportunity to get work experience and study at the same time 🙂

      Getting involved with STEM and extracurricular events outside of my day to day work. They really helped with my confidence, communication skills and meeting new people.

    It would definitely be engaging in research during my education early on in my career. It gives you a flavour of cutting-edge work, which you can learn from and apply in your career, be that in academia or industry.
