Maths can be used to describe anything.
Those amazing spiral patterns in plants like in Sunflowers and Romanesco broccoli, can all be described using the Fibonacci sequence.
The reason bees build honeycomb in hexagons and their dance movements when giving directions to other bees can all be linked back to mathematics.
Maths is universal and connects everything together.

It’s used everywhere and describes everything! It doesn’t have to be for maths or science work itself; patterns show up all the time in nature that we can explain with maths.
