I have learnt this information during my time doing my studies at University, and in my various University jobs since. i.e. I continue to learn how to draw graphs / do statistics most weeks and even days. This is how it should be – always learning
I’ve learned things all throughout life – at school, at university, in jobs that I’ve done since I finished university. As a registered vet with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, I’m required to do what’s called Continuing Professional Development every year as part of renewing my registration so I have to record at least 35 hours each year of new learning that relates to the work I do, to make sure that I’m up to date with all the new science. I guess that makes me a lifelong learner, because there’s always new science coming along to understand and to make use of in my work.
