My dad is a scientist and he always inspired me and helped me see the more interesting things I could learn based on what I was studying at school. I always thought science was interesting and knew I would like to do a job where I could always be interested and learn new things, instead of being bored doing the same things everyday! Science is so broad and there are so many different areas you could work in. I always found human biology the most interesting and wanted to do something to help better human health in one way or another- I thought I wanted to be a doctor actually, but I learned along the way that I was more interested in doing research to help discover new medicines.
