I would say my PhD. It is such a milestone achievement that not many people ever do. Also getting my job as a lecturer, guest speaking at the University of Tokyo, being able to teach in China.
My PhD is my most academic impressive thing I have achieved. Personally, I would say running the London marathon in sub 4 hours is pretty impressive too 🏃♀️

Being the first person in my family to attend university feels like an achievement. The fact that I also managed to graduate is another one! I have to give thanks mostly to my Mum and Dad for those two, although some inspiring teachers also played a part.
In terms of my work I felt proud the first time something I worked on was published with my name on it, in particular while working at the Financial Times.
I will never forget the day I found out I had got a job at the United Nations either – it was a Friday evening and I was in a pizza restaurant with my parents and girlfriend (now my wife!) when I received a call from New York with a job offer. It was a real turning point in my life.
