      I think maths appearing in nature is beautiful, such as the golden ratio and Romanesco broccoli.

      We can mathematically prove things that we cannot directly verify, which I think is amazing. For example, the prime numbers: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11,…. We can mathematically prove there are *infinitely many*, without listing them all out. (It’s a matter of logical reasoning, and there are many different proofs people have posted online.)
