I studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry at college. So I did continue on with maths. I wasnt so keen on physics or chemistry as a focus, but it was good to have that background knowledge as it is really useful.
I studied A levels in maths, French, German, chemistry and biology. I’ve not really used German since I finished school but I’ve used French even as a vet, when I did some work for a charity in Senegal, West Africa, where the official language for all our research work was French, so lots of meetings in French and lots of reports and documents in French. For this project I had to learn lots of new French words for technical vet terminology that I hadn’t needed to learn for school French exams!
